Experience economy in a post-pandemic

How tourism companies can attract tourists and keep them excited?

Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University is in collaboration with the EU (The European Union) and the University of Latvia in order to organize an international academic lecture entitled “Experience economy in a post-pandemic” by explaining the related issues that how tourism companies can attract tourists during the post-pandemic economic climate. It aims to help tourism entrepreneurs and researchers to understand the new needs of tourists that focuses on experience more than services.

Experience economy is based on the concept that “people are social beings who will always crave social experiences where they gather with and around fellow human beings”. This lecture is designed to help tourism entrepreneurs and researchers to understand why travelers are not looking for services, but instead are searching for experiences. The lecture will provide some tips that tourism companies can use to attract tourists who miss traveling, as well as how to make them eager to travel again after the pandemic.
