We are pleased to invite you to join a half-day workshop designed to strengthen core research and academic writing skills. Our primary target group is early-career researchers (PhD candidates, postdoctoral fellows, and assistant professors). However, as we believe learning is a lifelong process, if you are more senior and feel you can benefit from the sessions or contribute to the discussion, you are warmly welcome to join.
Participation in this workshop is free of charge.

Dr. Abel Polese is a researcher, trainer, writer, manager and fundraiser. He is the author of “The SCOPUS Diaries and the (il)logics of Academic Survival: A Short Guide to Design Your Own Strategy and Survive Bibliometrics, Conferences, and Unreal Expectations in Academia”.

Dr. Danny Marks is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Politics and Policy in the School of Law and Government at Dublin City University. His research interests include political ecology, environmental justice, and climate governance, with a particular focus on Southeast Asia.

Dr. Lisa Kenney is a senior researcher at the Chulalongkorn University Transportation Institute in Bangkok, Thailand. Her work focuses on enhancing urban mobility through research centred on governance, policy and planning, low-carbon transportation, safety, equitable access, and technological readiness.
